🎹 2nd Ritmüller Indonesia National Piano Competition

1. 🎯 Eligibility

Open to all pianists residing in Indonesia, including foreign nationals currently living in the country.
Participants must satisfy the age requirements of their respective category as of the date of the Final Round.
Participants must submit accurate personal information during registration; any false declaration may lead to disqualification.
Age eligibility must be supported by valid identification upon request (e.g., birth certificate, passport, or student ID).
Participants who have previously won First Prize in the same category may be required to enter a higher division, if applicable.
The organizers reserve the right to reassign participants to a more appropriate category if necessary.

2. 🧒 Age Categories & Registration Fees

Children’s Category: 12 years old and below
Rp 500.000 (regular price) – 400.000 (1 June to 7 June only)

Junior Division: 13 to 17 years old
Rp 625.000 (regular price) – 500.000 (1 June to 7 June only)

Senior Division: 18 to 32 years old
Rp 625.000 (regular price) – 500.000 (1 June to 7 June only)

3. 💳 Registration Fee

Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Payment must be completed at the time of registration to secure participation.
Detailed payment instructions will be shared via the official registration form and organizer communications.
Incomplete payments may result in disqualification.

4. 🏆 Competition Structure

🔹 Elimination Round (Online Submission)

Submission Deadline: 25 October 2026, 23.59WIB
Participants must submit an unedited video performance recorded in one continuous take.
Performances will be judged by a panel of experienced music educators.
Top 15 participants from each category will be selected to advance.
Finalists announced on 8 November 2026.

🔸 Final Round (Live Performance)

Date: 15 November 2026
Venue: To Be Announced
Finalists will perform live before a professional adjudication panel.
Finalists from outside JABODETABEK are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements.

5. 🎼 Repertoire Requirements

Participants must select pieces from the official repertoire list provided by the organizers.
Repertoire must follow the specific guidelines for each division and category.
Participants must perform from memory.
Repeats are optional unless specifically indicated in the repertoire guidelines.
Please check official repertoire list for rules and duration.
It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that all repertoire, time limits, and submission requirements are properly followed.

7. 🥇 Awards and Prizes

Champion/1^st Prize Winner	93.00-100
2^nd Prize Winner	85.00-92.99
3^rd Prize Winner	80-84.99

The participant with the highest score within each category will be declared the Champion / 1st Prize Winner, provided the score falls within the designated range.

If no participant attains the minimum score for a specific prize, that award may not be given.

Ties

In case of a tie, the judges will deliberate based on musicality, artistry, and overall interpretation.
If the tie remains, both participants may receive the same award at the judges’ discretion.

Final Decision

All results are final and irrevocable.
The decision of the judging panel shall not be subject to appeal or reconsideration.

Children’s Category (12 years old and below)

🥇 1st: Rp 3.000.000 + Trophy + Certificate + Judges’ Comments
🥈 2nd: Rp 2.000.000 + Trophy + Certificate + Judges’ Comments
🥉 3rd: Rp 1.000.000 + Trophy + Certificate + Judges’ Comments

Junior Category (13 to 17 years old)

🥇 1st: Rp 4.000.000 + Trophy + Certificate + Judges’ Comments
🥈 2nd: Rp 3.000.000 + Trophy + Certificate + Judges’ Comments
🥉 3rd: Rp 2.000.000 + Trophy + Certificate + Judges’ Comments

Senior Category (18 to 32 years old)

🥇 1st: Rp 5.000.000 + Trophy + Certificate + Judges’ Comments
🥈 2nd: Rp 4.000.000 + Trophy + Certificate + Judges’ Comments
🥉 3rd: Rp 3.000.000 + Trophy + Certificate + Judges’ Comments

🎖️ All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.

🎹 GRAND PRIZE!!!

If we reach 350 participants, the Grand Winner of the competition will win a BRAND NEW Ritmüller Upright Piano worth 89 million rupiah!

The Grand Prize will be awarded to the highest-scoring 1st Place winner across all categories, based on the judges’ final evaluation and overall performance excellence.

All participants receive Certificate of Participation.

Teachers also receive Certificate of Participation.

Schools with most participants will receive Certificate of Appreciation.

Winners receive Judges’ Comments.

8. Additional Guidelines

Any failure to comply with the competition rules and regulations may result in penalties or disqualification.
The organizers reserve the right to adjust the competition schedule, format, categories, or event structure when necessary.
Incomplete, late, or improperly submitted applications and videos may not be accepted.
The order of performance for the Final Round will be determined by the organizers.
By joining the competition, participants grant the organizers permission to use submitted photos, videos, and recordings for promotional and archival purposes.
These materials may be used to promote future events, highlight performances, and celebrate participants via social media, websites, and other promotional platforms.
